simple and fun recipes to celebrate Ramadan with kids:

2, Date & Honey Energy Balls Ingredients:

1 cup pitted dates
1/2 cup almonds or walnuts
1/4 cup shredded coconut
1 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp cocoa powder (optional)

Instructions:

Blend all ingredients in a food processor until sticky.
Roll into small balls and coat with shredded coconut.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

1. Crescent Moon and Star Cookies Ingredients:

2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter (softened)
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp baking powder
A pinch of salt
Icing and sprinkles (optional)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mix butter and sugar until creamy. Add egg and vanilla, mixing well.
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt, then gradually add to the wet ingredients.
Roll out the dough and cut into crescent moon and star shapes.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden. Let cool before decorating with icing and sprinkles.
