EMMA'S PLACE BLOG

“Nature is a tool to get children to experience not just the wider world, but themselves.” — Stephen Moss This quote reminds us that we are not separate from nature—we are part of it. Through nature, children don’t just explore the world around them… they discover who they are. When children interact with nature—feeling the breeze, touching the soil, smelling the flowers, tasting a berry—they’re using all their senses. That kind of connection helps them feel grounded, curious, and alive. By connecting more deeply with the natural world, children begin to understand not only how the world works, but also how they fit into it. At Emma’s Place, we believe that every leaf, puddle, and bug holds a lesson. Nature teaches us gently—through experience, wonder, and quiet discovery. #EmmasPlace #StephenMossQuote #NatureAndChildren #LearningThroughNature
