World Wildlife Day – Learning to Protect the Animals of Our Planet
Every year on World Wildlife Day, people around the world take a moment to appreciate the incredible diversity of animals that live on our planet. From the deep oceans to the highest mountains, wildlife is part of the delicate balance that keeps Earth healthy. Animals help ecosystems thrive. Bees and butterflies pollinate flowers, forests provide homes for countless species, and ocean animals keep marine environments balanced. Each animal, no matter how big or small, has an important role in nature. For children, learning about wildlife is the first step toward developing respect and care for the natural world. When children discover how animals live, what they eat, and where they make their homes, they begin to understand why protecting wildlife matters. At Emma’s Place, we believe that education and curiosity go hand in hand. That’s why we have prepared educational resources for children, including activities, printable materials, games, and a short video that introduces young learners to the fascinating world of wild animals. These activities are designed to help children:
We invite families, teachers, and little explorers to visit Emma’s Place and celebrate wildlife with us through fun and meaningful learning experiences. Explore the activities and video here: www.emmasplace.ca
