​Lou and his Mane have a special place in my heart. It was the first book I wrote. The story is about a lion that one day woke up to discover that he had lost his mane. He looks for it everywhere. Luckily, he has good friends who help him look for it all over the jungle and encourage him not to give up. This is a sweet story about friendship, perseverance and facing problems. 

​On July 18th is Mandela Day. This is a five stars review of this well written children's book about Nelson Mandela.
This story is more than a biography is a beautiful story in rhyme about a life of a great man Nelson Mandela an inspiration for social rights and justice. The book is not only educational but is inspirational and fun to read. I think that children in my class or any class will love this story for the way it is written and also because of the fun activities. ​That is exactly what Yuri discovered in "Yuri and the Jungle Ribbon", my second book, and that is a message that this curious, funny, and impulsive monkey learns and pinpoints us. He thinks that he will be happy when he gets "something" that makes him look good, something that nobody in the Jungle has, but when he gets it, the excitement and the happiness do not last, and he soon starts to feel worse than ever before, but all of the sudden he needs to make a choice that makes him realizes what is true happiness. as Antoine de Saint-Exupery said, the joy of deeds well done, the zest of creating new things.
This is my second book about Yuri. My first book, Yuri, and the Treasure Box was published last year.
