This month I celebrate the first anniversary of my children’s book “Lou and his Mane.” I felt proud when I finished the book and prouder every time, I received a review during this first year.
I chose some reviews to celebrate with you this first year. Reviewed in the United States ?? on March 24, 2022 Fun story with excellent illustrations. Children will come back to this book time and time again and will follow the band of friends helping each other out. Subtle lesson and teamwork. Looking forward to more books by this author. Highly recommended. Reviewed in the United States ?? on July 28, 2022 Great book This is a very cute, just delightful book of friendship and mutual help with bright illustrations. I bought it for my nephew Tommy as a gift and now he won't part with it. The main character in this book Lou has become his favorite character and Tommy keeps asking when the adventures of Lou and his friends will continue. I am glad that this wise and kind fairy tale will teach a lot of good things to children, and adults too. I highly recommend this book to children and parents who care about what their children will grow up to be. June 7, 2022 (Goodreads) What a great story! I loved it from the bright and beautiful cover and illustrations through to the fun, well-written and interactive story it is. The character of Lou is Lovable too. The animal friends show kindness and support towards him but when he discovers what happens to his mane, his reaction is a beautiful example to share with all children . A great book to teach kindness and compassion with. Highly recommended for children aged 3 to 7. Such a lovely book! Lou is available at emmasplace.ca (only for Canada) and Canada Amazon ca and worldwide at Amazon.com and other major retailers.

Giraffe is Lou’s best friend. She is a calm, sweet and friendly animal who gets along well with everybody in the jungle. Giraffe is always helping her friends, when they are in trouble, especially Lou. Lou knows that he always can count on her, so when Lou needed her to find his mane, she jumped at once to help him, and during this ordeal, Giraffe was always there, reassuring Lou and making him feel her support. This is a lesson in the story about friendship, resilience, empathy and solidarity. You can find Lou and his mane at Amazon.com.
