If you witness a temper tantrum, you know this could be triggered by the slightest thing. Researches tell us that young children feel emotions in a more full-body way than adults do.
Kids do not understand that emotions are temporary. It is hard for them to understand that emotions can come and go, and it also is hard for them to articulate how they feel about them. At preschool age, kids start to manage their emotions better. They can practice in an environment with other kids and different adults; they start learning to articulate their feelings and express them better with words. They are getting better at self-regulation especially older preschoolers. To help them gain control of their emotions, we need to guide them positively.#education #learning #kids #child #children
